The Incomplete Portfolio of C.D. Jenkins

Have proofed my proof copy and applied to publish it with AMAZON  (KDP) . Then the fun began - AGAIN  - The ever-wondrous system, having already printed me a copy successfully, now says that the spine text is too large and must be reduced by 0.00000000000001  of a millimetre just to be on the safe side! I therefore have had to go back to my illustrator to perform the afore-mentioned task. I shall then re-submit the work and see what AMAZON  have to say NEXT .  I had similar nonsense with the publication of my first book.  This whole system of publishing has its advantages but  is certainly far from perfect. Take care out there  -  and don't forget  -  Santa Claus isn't just for Christmas. CDJ

Have just received my proof copy of   'A Sortabiography - Part Two'   in the post. Hopefully it will now not be very long until it's actually published...   hoorah! And then there's the matter of designing my cover for the final book of the trilogy. Once again, I finished writing this collection many yonks ago but had been waiting a long time to secure an illustrator. Now I've found another good'un, hopefully the final volume can be published within six months or so from now. Keep watching this space                    for further updates. Done it! I've now been let loose on the decks at Radio Abbey, here in Kenilworth, and have broadcast my first introductory  show. It's called 'ECLECTOMANIA with Bristol Chris ' and was live on 10th. June @12:00. I shall be broadcasting weekly from now on, starting on Tuesday 18th. June @12:00. All shows will be uploaded to 'Mixcloud' - and IN FACT,  the introductory  show is  NOW  AVAILABLE   as such. Just visit Mixcloud and search for Radio Abbey - 'Eclectomania' is there. For anyone out there who may be at all interested ... Radio.Abbey is an online station broadcast live from Kenilworth, England. All being well, I intend hosting a weekly show from there as soon as I’m trained-up. It’s to be called ‘Eclectomania’ and will do exactly what it says on the label. In its two hour format there will be all genres of music plus some informative and some nonsensical items. Perfect for sortabiographical listeners ... It looks as though I now have an illustrator to complete the covers for my two sequels ( SORTABIOGRAPHY,  2 and 3 ).    BRING THEM ON! Keeping my fingers crossed,   hopefully they   WILL   be published  before the end of the world (as we know it, Jim). Respect and recycling, Chris J.

I've been so busy over the last few months, it's only just  dawned on me that this blog needs a damned good talking to.  It'll be the first  time this year !!!! To bring things right up-to-date... As previously said, all volumes of my ' SORTABIOGRAPHY'   are complete. Unfortunately, the artist I had wanted to design my covers is no longer available. Therefore,   there's another     "GOOD  ARTIST  REQUIRED"   to complete my two new book covers.  So, if anyone out there can recommend one to me, I shall be most grateful. My   'RADIO PLAY'   is also nearly ready for publication, subject to a  sorta- review (and necessary cover artwork). ...BREAKING NEWS... Also , subject to police clearance and parental guidance - I hope to soon begin broadcasting a weekly on-line radio show. It's to be entitled 'ECLECTOMANIA'  and will feature all styles  of music, along with the expected nonsense and ...
